This year for camp, Room 6 went to Lake Rotoiti.  The main activities were mountain biking, kayaking, abseiling, boat trip, visitors centre, orienteering, art and the Parachute Rocks walk.  My favourites would have to be the kayaking and Parachute Rocks.  This year we only had one full fine day which was Tuesday,  but we still managed to do all the activities.  Over all this camp was really fun. There were three places at Lake Rotoiti that Room 6  stayed in.  All the boys stayed in Red Deer Lodge, half of the girls at Fyfe’s Cottage, and the other half of the girls stayed at Long Lookout.  The Red Deer Lodge accommodation was basically different cabins with bunks in them.  Long Lookout and Fyfe’s Cottage were houses that were being rented out to tourists.  All of the accommodation was simple but very cosy.
