"Athletics Day!" Eva yells.
I find her on my bed yelling over and over until I yell at her. We are on our way to Athletics and I don’t feel happy. Athletics is held at Upper Moutere Domain. The date is Saturday 12 November and it is a weekend! Athletics celebrates the end of World War One. It has always been on the closest Saturday to the end of World War One.

There were 6 schools. The Junior B Girls started on ball relay. You don’t get points for that  but you do have to go as fast to as you  can. Tug – o – war was my favourite part because the kids are up against the adults. I liked the athletics because the kids won, and Mapua won most of the games, but I liked it the most because it was fun.
