On the 19th of March, 35 lucky students and 5 adults got the chance to go to a Nelson Giants game. The game was played at the Trafalgar Centre against the Waikato Titans.

We left school on the Saturday evening on a bus at 6:00pm on a very noisy bus ride to the Trafalgar centre. We were all wearing our bright yellow T-Shirts. We had practised on the bus so we made heaps of noise when we were in the building being the noise crew for the Nelson Giants.

The Nelson Giants won 79-72 and we got to keep the clapper hand things. We had to give the t-shirts back though so that Tahunanui School could be the next school to be the noise crew for the Nelson Giants.

We all enjoyed being able to go to the game and the most thing we enjoyed was probably the slam dunk at the end.
