Pae Tuteru is the principal of Nikao Maori school in Rarotonga and came here on a " twin schools" program by the goverment over thereto come herte to get ideas for his school and to teach us Cook Islands cultural dances songs and actions and even haka.

Pae selected a group of people to be in his cultural club we had 2 weeks to learn a whole lot of dances and songs because we were going to have a preformance at school assembly. We were all equipped with a shell necklace and 2 senior boys had to wear a grass shirt and full costume. They also had to do a mihi in maori and Cook Island Maori.

I think we all agree that having pae here was a great thing and every one will miss him , having him here was really benifcial.
