When we got down to the Mapua Domain, it was strange because there seemed to be billions of people there. There were 4 Mapua teams of Year 4-6 children, each with their own coach.

The grass was absolutely freezing when we took off our shoes and walked over to meet the other teams. We were all dressed in Mapua sports uniforms which were blue and white, with the Mapua logo on them.

We played 6 games altogether, against other schools like Upper Moutere, Tasman, Lower Moutere, Tasman Bay Christain school.

Mapua 2 got into the semi-finals, but they just missed out on the grand finals. There were drink bottles for the players of the day.

It was a really fun day and we were really tired at the end of it.
