Rippa Rugby

We were fortunate to have Kahu come to Mapua School and teach us how to play "Rippa Rugby". Check out the photos:

On 3rd March at 12:00 we went and played Rippa Rugby with Kahu, a rugby player.   It’s just normal rugby except if someone has the ball in the other team you pull one of their tags off and say “Rip”.  That’s how you play.  Before we played Rippa Rugby we did some passes back and forth to your partner.  I liked it very very much, especially when you rip the tag..  That day was wicked!  All the classes in the school went to it today sometime.

Today I was very excited because we were doing Rippa Rugby.  At 12:00 we went out to rugby.  We started by doing passes to a partner.  My partner was Max.  After 10 passes we changed sides.  I was on the white team.  When we started the ball was bounced and I caught the ball!  I ran but Aiden got the ball off me by pulling off my tag.  It ended up 2 all.
